Thus concludes my first cycle of military press. My lifts were:

  • 5×120#
  • 5×125#
  • 3×130#

I ended up beating my planned lifts by an average of 10 pounds, so I will adjust my max accordingly for next cycle.

As for the workout itself, felt okay. I forgot my hardcopy log at home, so I did my military press from memory (luckily, I got it right!) and logged into the blog to get my lifts for my assistance work right. I also noticed that I was pretty close to doing the 531 Bodybuilding template, so I just switched my bicep work to the military day and I will do the tricep work on Bench day and upped the volume on the curls. PR’d on Seated Press and Upright Rows today, so thats good.
